However, Funke Clean, LLC was founded with a deeper purpose in mind: to bring fulfillment to our family and those we serve. We believe that success isn’t just about the bottom line, but about making a positive difference in the lives of our loved ones and the community.

Our Family Story

Funke Clean, LLC is owned and operated by the Funke family—Dan, Cindy, Carli, Ben, and Tyler. Established in the summer of 2019, our goal was to create a business that allowed me to work directly with my sons, Ben and Tyler. Both Ben and Tyler have disabilities that make traditional educational or work settings challenging for them. As Stephen Hawking once said, “Disability need not be an obstacle to success.” Cindy and I have always believed this to be true. We saw pressure washing as a simple yet valuable skill they could learn with the right support. Growing up on a farm in Iowa, I spent many hours working alongside my father and siblings. While it was often challenging, it was incredibly rewarding. The experience of learning by doing was pivotal in shaping who I am today. I hope to provide Ben and Tyler with similar learning opportunities in the pressure washing business, while also offering high-quality cleaning services to our customers.

Family Skills from the Start

You may wonder, “What does this guy know about pressure washing?” I assure you that Funke Clean, LLC is a reputable and experienced company. Growing up on the farm, I spent countless hours pressure washing farm machinery, buildings, metal roofs, and even the inside of swine buildings. Later, I worked for a cheese processor, helping dairy farms maintain the cleanliness of their equipment and facilities to meet state and federal inspection standards.
